Natural beach Laganas
Laganas beach is the longest sandy beach on the island. This beach couldn't be more different. In the west there are bars lined up one after the other, while in the eastern part there is a marine and nature reserve.
Ideal for a walk on the beach or a swim. If you want, you can also watch the planes approaching from a safe distance.
Best time:
Full-time
Cost:
free of charge, beach chairs can be rented at various locations.
Our tip:
This is the right place to walk along the sea and look for shells. You can also build sandcastles and swim here, of course. It's a rare thing for Greece, but there are plenty of them here: sandy beaches! The best way to visit this beach is from the town of Kalamaki. Leave the car at the Tasos Place Fast Food and walk along the beach towards Laganas and back. It's about 3 km one way and highly recommended in the late afternoon or early evening.
